Welcome!
See the Omaha
dogs that need a
dog park!

Don't let this
happen to your dog!
What is a dog park?
A dog park is an enclosed outdoor area designed for safe, off-
leash play between canines of all sizes.

Where is the dog park?
Hefflinger Dog Park is located on the south side of 112th and
Maple Streets.
Map   There is a separate enclosed area for
dogs under 30 pounds and another larger area for dogs of all
sizes.  Come out and play today!

What do I need to know about going to the dog park?
  • Review the dog park "Petiquette" before bringing your
dog to Omaha's first dog park.
  • Pick up your dog's poo!  Abandoned poo is an easy
way for doggie diseases to spread.  Bring baggies.
  • Bring towels and rubber boots when it's wet out.
Winter and Spring means it's muddy out there!
